Dave Pynt, owner and Head Chef at Burnt Ends barbecue restaurant in Singapore, is on his way back to W Maldives to host a series of exclusive culinary events from November 26 to November 28.  Celebrity Chef will present his signature dishes at FISH® overwater specialty restaurant, KITCHEN® all-day-dining restaurant, and FIRE® BBQ restaurant, where he will curate a special menu that will be paired with the vintage Champagne brands by the island sommelier. Chef Dave will also host a Cooking MasterClass for the W Maldives’ culinary team, where he will reveal his secrets on how to prepare the custom grilled meat and seafood dishes, which are very much the heart and soul of Burnt Ends. 

ABOUT BURNT ENDS

The restaurant is a modern Australian barbeque offering casual but unique dining with seating at countertop table looking directly into the open kitchen. The custom built four tonne, dual cavity ovens and three elevation grills bring a new and exciting dining experience to the restaurant’s guests.

Burnt Ends currently ranks as number 10 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and number 53 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

ABOUT DAVE PYNT

Originally from Perth, Australia, Pynt comes from a heavy weight culinary background, staging and working under the legends such as Tetsuya Wakuda (Tetsuya’s and Waku Ghin), Rene Redzepi (Noma), Victor Arguinzoniz (Asador Etxebarri), Nuno Mendes (Viajante and The Loft Project) and Fergus Henderson (St John and St John Bread and Wine) to name but a few.

In 2017 Dave was presented with the Chef’s Choice award at the Asia’s 50 Best list, held in Bangkok on 21 February.
